Classic Cars

Our classic vehicle event will showcase classic cars, vans, motorcycles and agricultural vehicles from across Scotland.
Starting at 10am the awards will take place from 2:30pm before the event concludes at 3pm
Museum visitors will see the event as part of their entrance fee on the day, however those wishing to only come to see the classic vehicles will be admitted for a standard £3 per head [under 5’s free of charge].
This event is a pay at the door only event. You do not require a museum ticket to access this event however if you would like to visit the museum and the event tickets for the museum can be purchased online as well as in the gift shop.

20th of July

Lego Exhibition

Now established as the largest Lego Exhibition in NE Scotland “Brickmania” is set to return to its unique location on the 20th July between 10 – 5. See amazing Lego creations by members of the Tartan LUG [Lego Users Group], building tables, competitions, treasure hunt and lots more to see and do. Visitors to the museum will gain free entry to the exhibition, however those wishing just to come to the Lego Event will be charged £3 standard entry [under 5’s free].

Murder Mystery

Peterhead Prison Blues [The theme]

Peterhead Prison Museum is hosting a special concert featuring its most famous former inmate, now an international singing sensation. The inmates and friends he left behind though aren’t so glad to see him back.
Will the Jailhouse Rock with the sounds of revenge? Will anyone kill for a ticket? Join us to find out...
Right Here Productions are returning to host another night of mystery and intrigue, with of course a “who dunnit” it thrown in during the sessions between your three course meal.
Enjoy a truly immersive experience as you investigate crime scenes, search for clues and work together to figure out whodunit. But be prepared for a few surprises along the way. The evening will start at 7pm prompt and tickets priced at £35 per head will be sold from the 1st July via Event Brite

Halloween Tours

Back by popular demand is our annual "Halloween" Tours.

The tours set off every 30 minutes from the main gatehouse starting at 18:30 on the following nights 25,26,28,29,30 and 31st October, so if you think you are brave enough why not step inside these walls when the lights go out !!
Tickets will go on sale via Event Brite on 27th September from 10:00 and priced at £20 per head. This will include a burger and hot or cold drink at the end of the tour. [Other options available upon request].
