Coach/Bus Tour parking available on the drive outside the building. Additional parking for coaches at the Lido car park.

There are limited disabled spaces available in front of the main entrance.

For free car parking follow the museum signs.

Traveling to us

Arriving from the north

On the approach to, and nearby the Waterside Inn, you will pick up a brown sign that will direct you to the museum.

Turn right onto the Peterhead by-pass and at the next round about go straight ahead. At the next roundabout go straight ahead, you will see a further brown sign pointing to the first road on the left, South Road.

Follow this road and you will pass the former prison with a large sign outside “Admiralty Gateway”.

The driveway leading to the main gate is for disabled drivers only, all other drivers will see the sign for museum car parking just beyond the driveway. Turn right at the sign and at the bottom you will be directed into the car park that has spaces for 80 vehicles.

Arriving from the west

On the approach to the 1st Peterhead roundabout you will pick up a brown sign that will direct you to the museum.

At the roundabout take the third exit onto the Peterhead by- pass.

At the next roundabout go straight ahead, you will see a further brown sign pointing to the first road on the left, South Road.

Follow this road and you will pass the former prison with a large sign outside “Admiralty Gateway”.
